Wife was admitted here with a psyche eval. after being moved to intensive care was found by me to be "soiled beyond belief". when i went to the nurses station to report this, i was informed i must stay back from the nurses station. when i kept trying to tell them of her messy condotion, by holding her door open for the smell, i was politely told to go inside the room and call for the nurse. your nurse is busy right now. I went inside this great room and had the other nurse close the door, and i began to ring for the nurse. after 5 minutes, i opened the door and talking loud enough so the nurses at the desk could hear me, was again told to close the door or security will be called and i will be removed from intensive care. What intensive care? i shouted. this is intensive ignoring. i asked for head of intensive care. after several minutes, was told their unavailable. i asked for next in charge. at this time about 25 min. the nurse came in and began the clean up process. after another 30 min a head nurse came in and threatened to have me removed if i did not calm down. she directed me to a quiet room where she explained that 20-25 min of someone in their own feces is not a long time. i asked for her to put this in writing, that i may publish this information in the local newspaper. people should be warned about the care, or lack of it here. this head nurse, and spokesperson for the hospital needs to be terminated. this was a nightmare for a patient who had no self awareness of laying in her own mess for this long time. terrible.
