the emergency room nurses are very rude and mean. The nurse i encountered bragged about herself a lot and belittled me like I was stupid, she had the name tracy on her id badge, watch out for her. She even told me if I didn't like it i could carry my ass to tarboro or halifax regional. I wish now i had of and will do so next time. they leave patient records laying face up for all to see so your business is every ones business. I told the nurse i maybe pregnant and needed a pregnancy test, she told me I could go to the dollar store and get one. I thought that was covered by my insurance but I was refused treatment by this nurse. Also the bed in the er when I went in the nurse just changed the paper top and never replaced the sheet covering the bed. You could see dirt from ones feet on the sheet before me in there. the nurse tracy just changed the paper in front of me as she escorted me to the er room 2 so I know what was cleaned and what was not. Also the signs do not allow smoking there but the same nurse smelled of cigarettes and was smoking outside the er door next to the do not smoke sign but when my husband walked outside to smoke he was spoke ugly to about he is not allowed to smoke on campus so he pointed out the fact she the nurse had been just smoking in the same spot. to everyone needing medical care, bypass this place. i wouldn't even say it would offer quality vet. care.
