I had a hysterectomy at Oklahoma State Univ Med Center in March of 2008. I spent only 1 night in the hospital, thankfully. My bathroom had mold & mildew in it, and someone's urine was in a barf container sitting on the toilet. Thru the day and a half that I was there, (adide from bring meals) nurses came in only a few very brief times times to see how I was doing. I did not feel that I was cared about at all. My IV alarm went off several times, but it took 10 to 15 minutes for anyone to come in and see what was the matter. Needless to say, I will never go to this hospital again!!
